Came across this image on my Google Reader feed today, and I wanted to share it. Somehow having P. Diddy in the picture adds a new dimension this already massively iconic image, poking around at the issue of celebrity. If you think about it, celebrities in our culture are almost like Da Vinci’s famous woman… Most people will never actually meet Diddy — his existence, for them, consists entirely of media snippets.

B.o.B. and Goodie Mob held it down in the A this past Saturday (2.20.10). The Tabernacle is my favorite venue, and this was the first time I’ve had photo pass access to such a big event. Needless to say, the show was straight naynays – loved to see the old and the new share the same stage, with Atlanta’s own D.R.E.S. tha Beatnik hosting (more on that later).
